Exodus: The Future Of The Mod: Part Deux news

Herrow my fellow modders and moddies. Today I have some exciting news for Exodus:

1: Exodus will be staying on the Source Engine. Now, the reason why I didn't change the engine was because I knew that I would have to start over (and I allready did that when multiplayer was added). It also would mean I would lose members of the team. Lastly, learning a new engine just slows down the game. We don't want to be DNF.

2: With the SDK down, we can code in more stuff. A few features are planned to make the game much more realistic and cinematic. These features include a dynamic sound system (based with FMOD), Advanced Head Bobbing (based on stamina, health, etc. See SharpeYe for an example), a Karma System (shooting teammates, and making the wrong decision causes Bad Karma, and vice versa), and many other features.

So, stay tuned guys, as we are still here, still Source, and still buggy. This has been an Exodus update, and I'm off to get some toast.
