So the move to IGN slowed us down a bit, and we tripped up on our update schedule. It's time to get back into it. To update you guys on the happenings a little, we have recently launched our Steam Community group which everyone registered to the forums should have gotten an email about. We're all really excited to use this great new system Valve has provided us with.

We've also kicked off our new beta program. There were talks of opening up the beta program, but Marc decided to take up the responsibility of testing lead, and we now have a dedicated team of testers running smoothly. It's great for us, because it speeds up development a ton.

On the gameplay side of things, we've created a whole new flight system which blends the best of AUTO and FREE mode as you know them in Beta 2.3. It's much more arcadey, but with all the new space features coming, it will allow people to focus more on landing and assaulting capital ships than just flying where they want to go.

We also have a new capturing system which now requires a minimum number of players before a capture can begin. This system has had the hugest impact on infantry games, because now people stick in squads, something we have always wanted. It also makes the game flow much more smoothly, with teamplay being rewarded.

On top of all this, we are looking into new damage systems to update our infantry gameplay a little bit more. We've increased damage on all weapons (double, actually) and the game feels much better now. Anyways enough talk, lets get to images.

Below are the NGM Scout and Fighter models by tweek and skinned by Sapien. The scout is a new class of ship we are introducing in 3.0 which will have a repair beam to assist teammates and repair the capital ship along with a light cannon and some incredible speed.
