An ancient looking man enters a vast, circular chamber made of a pitch black material. His stride is strong and youthful, a far from expected cadence from a man of his visage. He approaches the center of the chamber, where glowing rings on the floor mark his destination. He comes to a stop in the center, waiting only momentarily before being addressed. A voice that sounds like a BM:Hazard Course "developer" fills the room. "Your work is too cartoony." "I'm glad you think so." said the wise man. "It's just the motivation I needed."

2 thoughts.
1)- Being millions of years in the future, the hexagonal pommel would be made of a material capable of precisely balancing the "light as air, harder than diamond" material of the blade.
2)- Good call! I have already planned certain player model animations to include the second hand coming into the back handle to aid in two-handed strike animations!

Yeah, a normal human being is soooo capable of lifting that and wielding it in any controlled manner.

Once again, MILLIONS of years in the future. I'm sure we would have the capability of fabricating materials far lighter and harder than we can today.

How come no one ever questions the ability of Final Fantasy characters holding their giant swords? lol

I'm currently working on a much different character model, that one is just a place holder at the moment.

Sword texturing: crap, player model: crap, sword scale: all good! The weapons in Eon will be pretty big! C'mon, who complained at the size of Cloud's sword! :)
