News - Entropy Zero: 2 RTX mod for Half-Life 2: Episode Two

this will be a list of stuff i hope to do within the year in this mod:

finish all materials

fix major bugs

fix most minor bugs

fix flashlight

start working on replacing meshes(remaking assets like weapons ect.)

this doesnt mean development will be completely stopped but it will be slowed down alot

I will stop posting blogs as often and the next demo will probably not release for a while

the demos that are out now are mostly for me to gain info on bugs and share this thing i wanted to make
for a game i really enjoyed

Development Update

I have remade significantly more assets and made progress on the game none of it is final but its a start

i have added some emissions to things that needed them before antlions ect.

progress on C1 has began and bugs have been fixed

Things are in very early beta and alot of assets haven't been remade
even within these images there are many bugs

Hello since the last time i posted i have made some progress on C1 and C0

its all still in beta so nothing is final

progress has staggered recently but i should be able to focus more on the project soon

This release fixed alot of my doubts when starting this project as lots of major bugs were fixed that sometimes made me think i would never release this its been in the works for about 1 and a half months and its already been lots of fun

after this im planning on fixing other smaller yet substantial bugs like

• adding most of the emissions in the game this would mean making the antlions glow ect

• fixing alpha/transparency the game has bugs that are completely emersion breaking for example most blood textures are black squares this is due to issues with the software and the way the assets alpha is done

• and fixing other small bugs

i would also like to make a tutorial

The far future

in the next big update here are the things i would like to achieve

1. finish a section of the game
2. remaster most assets
3. fix C0 C1 bug (C5 has a different bug that will be fixed sooner most likely)
4. remake levels with RTX in mind?(this is extremely far off)
