I will give you summary of what is this mod, how much is done, and what's current situation.

Prologue:

Im a huge strategy and scifi fan and loved CNC era and many other eras, and i always dreamed to have a game where i can command all this forces from different games, thanks to Age of wonders 3 Planetfall modding tools i was able to make this dream come true.

How does this mod work and install:

This mod is not like ur Steam workshop mods and can be installed on any version of the game, once its release its a simple drag and drop into ur game folder mod it will be compatible with most mods out there except the ones that are already used for this overhaul(more about this later).

What will this mod add and change:

This mod is going to add a lot of things and changes, some features:
# Adding 9 new subfactions that u can pick with your main faction (( GDI, NOD, Contra force, JSDF, US Taskforce, Umbrella Co, OCP, Series9, Armored core )) each subfaction will provide you with between 8-15 new units and new operation and new buildings and of course their own mechanism .

# Adding new jet system, Jets are new units that can sweep in battle and hit your target anywhere in tactical map and move out! (yes they are not VTOL aerial units who stand on one location and shoot) this units act once each 2 turn and can be countered with Anti-jet Missiles which now each faction of the game have one T2 unit that can fire anti-jet missiles.

# New T5 units, the EPIC units, this guys means business they are end game units and very powerful but not without weakness, each faction will have 1 epic unit and each subfaction will provide at least 1 new epic unit.

# Aerial ships, most factions and subfactions will have this guys which are powerful aerial ships that can lay siege to enemy, they are the T5 unit of original factions of the game.

# New Operative agents for most factions, now when upgrade that spy research technology of your faction u will unlock this agents/commandos, this guys are mostly stealth in STR map with alot of tools at their disposal and if controlled right can get in, deal heavy damage and get out, behind enemy lines but they dont have much HP so tactical choice is key to use this guys right!.

# Overhauled 3 Custom factions, ( Mega corp, Colonial guards, Hive ) my friend Wolfie made this factions and i have heavily overhauled them with my vision and added them to my mod.

# New units for original factions, most of original factions will get between 2-4 high tier new units to improve their gameplay and make them in pair with custom factions.

# Tiberium, Cosmit have been replaced with tiberium, there are more tiberium nodes in the game now BUT they provide half the number! and all powerful units use alot of tiberium resource! so they are key locations to control, also this tiberium nodes may have Ion storms or tiberium poisoning weathers with them, the fungal terrain have been replaced with tiberium and tiberium flora terrain with model both in strategy map and tactical map, so u can easily decide how much of red zone u want on your maps.

# Range overhauled, Sniper and artillery weapons range have been increased alot, but with new minimum range where they cannot fire, also they cannot target aerial units any longer.

# Replacing alot of natural units, no longer joke or funny units, pigs, hoppers, penguin and etc are replaced with Necromorphs, freaky mutants and other horrible things u can imagine also most of autonom units are replaced with skyrnet units.

# Updated Secret techs, secret techs will now provide a commander transformation/suit equipment at the end of their tech line, which will give powers equal to T5 unit to the commander which can use them, for example the celestian ST will provide the Seraphim exo suit, which is an aerial dps and support suit, also some final tier operations have been buffed to be more like super weapons but with increased cost such as (nuclear missile and Bio Chemical missile)

# Improved AI, AI improving is VERY hard in planetfall and limited but i did my best to make it more variant and use all new toys that i have provided in the mod to be better challenge for PVE players.

# New commander customization for most factions ranging from heavy cyborg parts up to male amazon commander (yeah show those gals whos the alpha boss now)

# Colonizers will also be Massive transports now which can transport your T1 and T2 units across map with massive mobility such as 42 Move points in strategy map so huge maps are no longer the chore to travel for colonization or invasion BUT with same cons and pros of colonizer so dont think about mobilizing your entire T1 T2 army that easily (there also other transporter units in the game which are provided by subfactions)

PROGRESS SO FAR:

  1. From 9 subfactions 7 are completely done and playable.
  2. Tiberium and flora terrain is completely done and playable.
  3. Aerial ships and agent units are done and playable.
  4. Range overhaul is done and playable.
  5. From 3 custom faction colonial guard is done, Hive needs updating and Mega corp need overhauling.
  6. New units for some original factions remains to make.
  7. New commander customization need updating (have some new parts that i love to add).
  8. Transport colonizers done just need little visual update.
  9. Improved AI under experiment.
  10. Neutral units update not started yet.
  11. Secret Tech update not started yet.
  12. Accurate description for new units and skills not started yet.

WHAT IS UNDER DEVELOPMENT:

Currently im working on Series9 subfaction, all their models are ready but i need to code the units and they require more time than all other factions that i have done since they have way too many custom shit.

PLANNING FOR DEVELOPMENT:

Ok so once im done with Series 9 i will go by this order for my 3 next plans

  1. Finish armored core subfaction.
  2. Overhaul Mega corp.
  3. having a big test for all subfaction in order to make sure nothing is missing and no bug is presented.

Once im done with this 3 i will decide my next 3 plans from my list.

RELEASE DATE AND TERMS:

Sadly my time is very limited due to my job which requires me to travel around the country and stay for weeks, so sometimes the mod progress will be halted for 2-3 weeks, but im sure the BETA for the mod will be released on 2023, also the first beta will contain all the features except the "Accurate description for new units and skills" (god i hate descriptions) and ofcourse would need better balancing and bug fixing which is the whole purpose of beta.
