Unfortunatly, it is with great regret to inform that the mod is no longer active. It hasn't been for well over 7 months now. Even if we wanted to pick the project up again, we couldn't, all of the assets were erased in a hard drive reformat. (always the way) We want to say thank you to everyone who supported us (yes even the ones who yelled at us to hurry up), it was a fun experience. I cannot release any information yet, but a future project from Black Jaguar Studios will use the Source Engine. Keep an eye out on the front page of our website. Thats right, the ever so popular Q2DM1 is almsot complete. Oh, if your not keen on what this map translates too, it'll probably make more sense to call it "The Edge". In this case "Edge Source" - qs_q2dm1.

John has been working for a week and a half straight relentlessly to capture and recreate every subtle detail, and nothing but true beauty has emitted from his hard work.

Heres some pictures to wet your whistle. While viewing them, if youve played Q2, try remembering your first frag in this room, and all those glorious moments. To all those who know nothing about this map, just check out its massive potential for awsome rocket wars and rail battles.

Looks "ok" but i would get rid of the boring brown look of the quake2 map and make it nice and detailed (sortof like the prodigy map, convert it to HL2 in a good way, not just copy the old.
And the rocks near the water/rail can look a lot more detailed and actually look like rocks, not so square. Keep it up, wanna see more of this

I think you should work more about the weapon models, because it looks like a nine year old boy trying to make quake on source, i know you can do better, make it hot!
the source engine is much more powerful then quake's graph engine..
you can make it much more detailed... anyway good luck guys.. i hope you will succeed.
