How to install mod

First, you must have these:
Earth Defense Force 4.1: Store.steampowered.com
Mission Pack 1: Time of the Mutants: Store.steampowered.com
Mission Pack 2: Extreme Battle: Store.steampowered.com
And if you have old version mod, you must delete EDF, SgottMission and SgottMods folder in your game folder.
Then:
1. Backup EDF41.exe
2. Decompress this 7z inside the root folder of EDF4.1, in the same folder where EDF41.exe is located.
For example: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Earth Defense Force 4.1
3. Run game

How to revert to original

1. Delete EDF41.exe
2. Launch EDF4.1 with steam, there will be a message about missing files.
3. Execute steam download tasks.
4. Run game again, it should be back to the original.
If you have backed up EDF41.exe, just restore it.

If you start game after removing 1mod.cpk it's still the same. Should check if it and exe are together.
If the cpk is deleted, it crashes without seeing the logo. You should try vb3 or vb4 by google, according to youtube and feedback, they can work.
