Hello ladys and gentlemen. Followers of the Freespace 2: Evolution mod! I wish to point out something before I get started. The name Evolution, I came up with on my own: No intention on stealing the name from the Nexus: A Jupiter Incident mod called "Freespace: Evolution". Now, allow me to get started:
Teaser or Trailer: A Trailer of some kind would be out very soon however there is a unfixable problem standing in my way: No recording software or experence. So I would love some help from the community. I would much appreciate it. If you do help then you are concidered family to me.
Demo: A Demo will be released when Im near completion of a Release Canidate. The Demo is expected to have 2 missions from the United Terran Systems campaign or two missions of my own creation. The Demo will have its own seperate mod file, it will NOT tie in with the origional Evolution mod due to the removal of any ship that is not in the demo.
Help is still wanted: <--- basicly that is self explanitory.
I would love it if you guys ask questions. Anyways thank you for somewhat supporting my mod silently

Perhaps he is asking if this is a total conversion mod. I believe the answer to that would be no.
due by definition it is not a TC but its timeline isnt related to fs2 at all
I think he meant if the mod will use the FS2Open version.
Since Volition released this enhanced version of FS2 to support stand alone mods (original FS2 not needed to play the mod).
Nice to see there are still ppl developing content for FS2, even if it's just a new campaign.
If you do not modify any game content such as ship models, textures etc. and only write new missions, you might better call it a new campaign, just to prevent confision.
Its new models and such. Its also not part of the freespace timeline
