That's right, version 1.5 of Duke Nukem Forever Enhanced is now available, with two major highlights in this release.
First of all, after many trial and errors, the Duke Nukem model featured in Triptych's 2009 trailer has been succesfully restored, many thanks to Futuretime23 for swapping 2011 Duke with the 2009 model and Neo for making the textures, the real king is back into action.
Fixed "The Hive" chapter
That's not everything that this new update brings. As a way to show what can be achieved with the level editor and a showcase to what this project aims to do in the future with the levels, I've fixed the notoriously infamous "The Hive" chapter, the questionable jokes present in the level has been removed, the writing has been tweaked and new music has been added to make sure that the experience is now much better and similar to Duke Nukem 3D in tone, the level is now way more atmospheric.
The fixed hive is already available and you can download it right now.
More stuff to come next year
The project still has a long way to go, there's definitelly more stuff planned for the next year, what's present in the current update is just a taste on what's about to come for Duke Nukem Forever (2011) in 2023, mainly related to the levels and DLC compatibility, which about the DLC I'm currently facing a roadblock regarding loading the gameplay changes that I hope to adress, for the time being only the Vanilla Edition has DLC compatibility. I'm planning to do heavy changes to the game regarding the levels and story, fixing the issues that the game has since it's release and make DNF the way it was ment to be.
We've also done initial work on the nighttime Las Vegas, here are WIP screenshots of it.

Hi! Thank you for your work. Here are some ideas to improve DNF2011 that i would like to share. I will post them in separate comments. I haven't played DNF2011 since like 2013 and I haven't tried this mod yet so some comments might be redundant and I apologize for that.
1) Cut the throwing faeces and white board **** in the intro and start the game with duke going up against the Cycloid Emperor. That would be a better start. Or cut that bit entirely and have the game start with the BJ.
Really cool, also Vegas by night is what it should have been.

2) Regenerating health should be cut if it isn't yet. I hope that's possible!
3) The valve puzzle. As Angry Joe suggested you should be able to just destroy it (instead of solving it) and then Duke would say "I hate valve puzzles". Se here: Youtu.be
4) Halfway through the game you should get the Golden Desert Eagle. Then you will have a power full pistol that you can use at the tougher enemies. So that the pistol is a valid choice even by the end of the game. A lot of people have asked for the Golden Desert Eagle and this way it will be a valid option whilst keeping the M1911. It will work like in Half-Life 1 where you have first the Glock 17 and then get the revolver which is much more powerful.
5)Everyone hated the annoying Dylan. Replace him with Bombshell as Dukes new sidekick. The model and the voice acting of Dylan is entirely replaced by Bombshell. After the death of the Holsom Twins Duke could need a new love interest by that point in the game. When she seemingly dies at the end that would make Duke furious and ready for the end fight. Luckily though Duke will discover her alive again in the DLC.
It would be nicer to have a flirty dialogue between Bomshell and Duke than the annoying dialogue between Duke and Dylan.
