Yup been hard at work making DNE compatible with a newer eduke32 version
Straight to the point

Also looking for a good writer to rewrite DNE dialouge, you can find it in
dpcons/dne.con
you can't add new lines but rewrite existing ones
now back to the DNE on Steam
As you may know there Duke Nukem 3D : Megaton edition now on steam, what you may not know is that it contains workshop support and furthermore support for mods that do not even require MEGATON, like eduke32 and consequently Duke Nukem Eternity, now here is the good news

Steam\steamapps\common\Duke Nukem 3D
the place all z0 files and modpack files into Steam\steamapps\common\Duke Nukem 3D
Run setup.bat select steam install and press enter a lot till it completes
then select 3 for install mods, wait and done
Run MEGATON from your steam list
Select Mods / Eternity / Classic Game
