Destroyed Aperture is a free community made modification for Portal 2. Aperture Science Experimental Facility #7 is empty. Following the failure of the central core, the complex has been consumed by overgrowth and decay. But when he discovers a teleporter capable of transporting him to other Aperture facilities, he can't help but wonder if salvation lies ahead. Teaming up with a charming personality core named Neado, David steps through the teleporter into the unknown. What dark secrets will he find on the other side? Is he destined to die amid the ruins of Aperture, or can he find a way to escape? Will he ever regain his memories and discover the truth?

RSS News about "Plan B"

In this announcement we talk about some news regarding our current situation and initiating our Plan B.

Posted by on

Hello everyone.

Our "Plan B" that we have talked about in our previous announcement is now a reality. Unfortunately, we've been left with no other option but to kick the non-active team members off the team, which means we'll be looking for new people that would be interested to use their talent (voice acting, modelling, SFM animating, particle design, model animating) for Destroyed Aperture. The development will take slightly longer because of this, but we hope you understand.

Positions we're currently looking for

  • Voice Actors
  • Modellers
  • SFM Animators
  • Particle Designers (preferably if you're experienced with Source Engine, but not required)
  • Model Animators
  • Anything else you might have to offer
Please note that, if you decide to apply, we'll require an example of your previous work.
Everyone is free to apply for any talent they have, we'll take a look at every application and select the best ones that fit our needs. If you have friends or are in contact with people that are interested in trying out working for a project, let them know!

But it is important to keep in mind that we're a team of hobbyist, this isn't our full-time job, thus we can't afford to pay.
You can apply in the comments OR send us an email to the address down below.
If you decide to send us an email, be sure to include some contact details in it so we can contact you in case you're selected (such as Steam profile, Discord, etc).

That's all for now, thank you for taking the time to read this.

-aerond, Destroyed Aperture Lead Developer
