Designated Days and its expansions. The main mod is based in the Clone Wars, but there are several expansions that concentrate on different eras. Pre/Post Phantom Menace (pre-Clone Wars), The Old Republic (Great Galactic War/Cold War), TFA era, New Republic era, Galactic Civil War, and now announcing the Dark Forces story arc. It will consist of several chapters comprising of tons of episodes/scenarios between various factions. The story will be posted soon. Right now, Operation Republic Ghost is the first chapter that's been released. Icemember is working on the winter maps of Chapter 3, and I am working on the start of Chapter 2.

Basically detailing problems I've had with a map in progress.

This has been a most frustrating map. I've had a constant error that wouldn't go away, and in the end I decided to scrap it and remunge a new version (keeping the sides and objects intact). It's been such a pain. Now hopefully in this new version I won't have that problem, but we'll have to see. Thankfully I know what I'm doing and what direction it's going in, because I want this map to kick off chapter 2 with an explosive introduction to the Invasion of Rathia. This beachhead will basically resemble that of the landing at Pointe Du Hoc in real life and is heavily inspired by the mission in Call of Duty 2 as well. To get vehicles up the beach, however, I'm planning on making two passes for infantry to go through so you can achieve your objectives either way, but for the rest of the map you'll have to eventually link up with the rest of the 514th to assess where the heavy guns are. This isn't a spoiler or anything, it's a general outline. The passes will be a workaround to not being able to climb the cliffs (that'd be way too much work).

icemember will hopefully make more props for me to do this map properly (no pun intended).

Meanwhile, have a screenshot I already posted, just to give a reminder of the regiment you're going to be playing.

(PS - I'm still trying to decide which weapon Phalanx will be using here, maybe the DC-15S Ops again, or a variant of DC-15A, like the DC-60 which he's holding)

Gracias! icemember helped mostly. I did the base colors, he did the scratches, but I did the scratches for the ARF Trooper's visor. Some parts of red are darker, some lighter, but mainly from wear and tear from constant battle since near the start of the war. :) They fought on Kamino during that initial Separatist invasion, where they first had their customized armor.

I went to Point du Hoc a few years ago. I might have some old photos, I'll check my hard drive and tell you guys. And a DC-15S feels more "officer" than a DC-15A imo, can't wait to see more of this, i have great memories of what you've posted on SWBFCustom ;)

Thanks for the feedback, CdtFox! Any pictures would be greatly appreciated, indeed! I'll give him his DC-15S Ops like he had on Geonosis. It has an RDS for precision aiming.

As a lover of WW2 I 'perfectly' know how Pointe du Hoc looks: I went there multiple times, plus I have a few books about it / sooo if you need some help with that, I can tell you everything I know about it in PM (explain everything here would be too long) ;)

btw if you need some help about other battles in France, Belgium or Russia I can help too ^^
