Depth is being planned as a stealth-centric team-game for the Unreal Engine 3.0 In Depth , two teams of adversaries square off in an underwater world, with very different objectives. The Ocean Predators are a group of notoriously ill tempered sharks who's stomping ground always seems to be closeby sunken wrecks. They hunt in packs, and woe to anyone who gets too close to the valuables they are protecting. The Fortune Divers are a group of greed-driven men and women who have decided that the possibility of sunken treasures at the bottom of the ocean is motivation enough to put aside their fears and take the plunge. They operate in teams, and are mostly defenseless, but for a small collection of gadgets which can ward off predators - temporarily. The premise is straightforward - As a diver you must explore a series of cavernous wrecks ranging from Sunken 18th Century Galleys and Second World War battleships to submerged ruins of long lost cities in an effort to recover valuable artifacts...

From the profile -

Depth is being planned as a stealth-centric team-game for the Unreal Engine 3.0

In Depth , two teams of adversaries square off in an underwater world, with very different objectives.

The Ocean Predators are a group of notoriously ill tempered sharks who's stomping ground always seems to be closeby sunken wrecks. They hunt in packs, and woe to anyone who gets too close to the valuables they are protecting.

The Fortune Divers are a group of greed-driven men and women who have decided that the possibility of sunken treasures at the bottom of the ocean is motivation
enough to put aside their fears and take the plunge. They operate in teams, and are mostly defenseless, but for a small collection of gadgets which can ward off predators - temporarily.

The premise is straightforward -

As a diver you must explore a series of cavernous wrecks ranging from Sunken 18th Century Galleys and Second World War battleships to submerged ruins of long lost cities in an effort to recover valuable artifacts and treasures that you can sell to make your fortune.

As an ocean predator, you must - by any means necessary , thwart the Divers' attempts, and in so doing, satisfy that rumbling in your belly. You've got huge teeth, you move through the water like a knife, and your hide is thick - but there's one problem . Your eyes aren't too great...The world of sonic emissions is your eyes and ears, and it will be your only clear guide in finding your prey. When a diver moves even the slightest bit, he will register on your senses. The faster he moves, the brighter his signature. Wounded divers will also emit bright signatures by way of the blood they trail.

Whoa, I guess I saw Koroshiya's comment and thought it was his without looking too closely.... my bad.

Sounds like a cool idea. If you can transfer the scary atmosphere of Killing Floor into this mod (including the grittiness), then it would be a cool mod to look forward to.

I want sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their frickin' heads! :D

I know I don't have much room to talk, and your concepts are great, but when are you actually going to release a mod? I mean, I loved the concept for Lynch, but that idea was only announced less than two weeks ago, and you're already gearing to go on a fifth mod. I think you should at least take one idea to alpha, since you seem like a very capable leader who can draw and model with the best of them, but I was looking forward to Lynch. :(

Hmmm, I only just found this and to express that I am currently confused would be a gross understatement :D

This project hasn't got anything to do with Lynch in the slightest, unless I abruptly change the content to feature a shark, which while pleasing me greatly would also be somewhat nonsensical and eleviate what I wish to do with Lynch. The other mods on my profile, Believe/FEAR are the same and I have no idea whats going on with those at all - shame. DamageInc, I have joined those guys to do some weapon modelling because it's an area I wish to focus on for a little while. Lynch is my main project, got a minor update soon and hopefully an interview with a bucketload of content in a month or so (hopefully i havent just jinxed it). Actually come to think of it I'm struggling to see how the 2 of us could be confused, except for both having K's in our name.

Regardless this looks sweet, anything with a shark in it has got my full attention, can't wait to see it in action.
