Just a random post to show the kit used for the DvH programming, which i feel is a good set up at the moment.
The test environment on the left pc:
Core i7 920 @ 3.4Ghz, Hd6870, 6gb ram, 120gb OCZ SSD HD, 50mb internet, Corsair HX1000w, pc running at a quiet 18db
The much more expensive Dell precision M6500 laptop on the right is the development environment:
Core i7, 12gb ram, unlimited wireless 3g internet, thinking about getting it an SSD hd too. Great for working on the mod in hotels and airport waiting areas.
The kinect is something im tinkering with :)
I want a 3d monitor next
Between the 2 pcs I can get good debugging of ingame multiplayer, and can replicate a lot of the bugs reported
Ahh, Windows 7 I see.
On another note, when can we expect a release? I've been tracking Demons vs Humans for longer than I care to remember and I must say I'm really looking forward to the eventual release.
Perhaps setting up a playtime for the internal build?
Have you joined us in the beta playtest yet?
Join the steam group Steamcommunity.com
Everyone welcome.
We are testing 3 new human weapons in the upcoming 0.17 beta soon, join the steam group and announcements will follow.
Yes. I'm already a SteamGroup Member and I have the latest beta installed. Unfortunately with no players in-game I have been unable to properly experience Demons vs Humans.
There should be a lot of testing coming up soon, we have the server patched to 0.17 maps so no one can join the server until we release 0.17 later today. (Lots of unique and experimental human weapons, we are focusing on an awesome human team now we are happy with the demons)
Which timezone are you in? We need to have more games at times Australia can join too.

I'll add to the description.
Your PC is a monster. Really.
A question, is the HD6870 a nice gaming GPU? I'm thinking of getting one.
This is my favorite guide Tomshardware.com pick the price range and it recommends the best graphics card you can get in your budget. Updated monthly.
I picked this one so that I can play most games on high and then when crysis 2 comes out on 22 March 2011, I can get another one to run in CrossFire.
The solid state hard drive was my favorite upgrade, the speed difference for load times and system performance. Great boot times and game loading times.
If I give you my addres will you send me just the case of the left pc? lol
Just the case lol? its a HAF 932, great case with decent cooling with low noise. Awesome cable management and low system temps.
Techwarelabs.com
Yea mate just the case. I just bought new motherboard and processor but I am with my 10 year old case haha. I buy just new parts and modify the case so they can fit in this old case but I start to feel that it just doesnt work anymore this way xD
That looks like a really nice office to work in xD
That's nice and well organized... The opposite to mine.
Nice
I has the HAF 932 But its the red amd edition
Nice case aren't they?
Great case, I really have to make sure not to put drinks near it, as any spillage would go straight through the top. Ive seen guests put tea on the fliport mat :O
Get that tower off the floor! lol Makes me cringe seeing it down there.
Where would you have it placed?
