There has been a lot of fuzz about the release of DA2 and what our plans are. I have been receiving emails asking 'when?' and even worse, some people still apply for beta-testing which has closed sometime ago..
We are currently at Internal Release 8 which has not yet been submitted to our team members or beta-testers.
There have been rumors that Internal Release 9 will be a broad beta-test of DA2 ONLY available to FilePlanet exclusive members and our news letter which you can find in our homepage (http://www.planetunreal.com/da). This rumor might be true but we have made no final announcements regarding this exclusive broad beta.
However, IF this happens it will not be the final public release we have planned. It will be sort of a controlled beta-test before the public release goes live. We need more people to test DA2 in a wider range but we also want it to be in a controlled manner.
It is still a bit early and nothing is set in stone. As Mr. Mark Rein from Epic has said "We need around 2 weeks..."
Certain websites have been contacted for preparation of what we would like to be "one of the biggest releases for UT2004 mod community".
