those are german frigates,it says they are headed towards something that could be soviet,but then they say it isnt.

Yes but this is in the context of most space games in which the classifications go strikecraft -> corvette/gunboat-> frigate -> destroyer -> cruiser -> capital -> super capital.

lol just cause your dad is in the navy doesn't mean he is right (no offence plz of course) a corvette is independent class of vessels that always have their own hull classification and number in any navy. You could wiki that or check out more respectable sources if you dont believe me.
