An artifact of substantial power is stolen from the priests of the Sumerset Isles. It's captor, Akir Rond, escapes to Cyrodiil only to find the law waiting for him. Somehow, Akir escapes captivity and a game of cat and mouse begins. The priests, desperate for the relic to aid their war against the Sload, put all their money and effort into finding the artifact, hiring an independent organization of vigilantes to find him. Eventually, the vigilantes capture him, but without the artifact. Akir Rond, now in a deep coma, is taken to Hammerfell. Henantier of Bravil has improved his dreamworld amulet. To find the artifact, they send you, the dream walker who previously aided Henantier during his first experiments.
