Dark Communion is a Co-op mod for UT2004 which like most co-op mods puts a heavy emphasis on working as a team but also takes this to a new level by offering a dynamic game environment. This will be achieved through multiple win objectives in round based style games which allows the players to choose how they wish to play the game. To further expand upon making the game unique a second party will be added to the game which will try to hinder the Co-op team and also avoid being its target. This Second party or the Kingpin is also player controlled but only consists of one player. Although this seems unfair, the Kingpin will have the ability to control groups of minions at his disposal and direct them to defend certain locations. Holding ground in certain locations will be the main objective of the Kingpin while trying to ensure that the Co-op team does not complete its objectives.
