i think hitler dont like of a idea of germans in a church
Hitler at first was a devout christian, defending his early atrocities with the Bible, and called the Reichstag fire a "Sign from God himself."
But in the End, he forged a more state-focused Christianity. In the Passports, he was just referred to as "Gottgläubig" which means "Believing in God". Not the Christian God, but A god.
