CustomTroops file - Military Reforms mod for SpellForce: The Order of Dawn

This mod does a lot of small changes to most troops in the game, to make them stronger, more useful or just cooler. I made this mod for myself (to play around in free mode mostly) but I decided to release it for the community to try. My focus was on changing the things I didn't like about vanilla troops, which means some changes may not be balanced properly, so beware of that.

Please note that the mod changes ONLY the troops that you recruit from monuments.

The mod was developed and tested for the latest "public version" beta version on steam

I plan to do an alternative version with more balanced changes in the future, so any feedback would be appreciated!

- INSTALLATION -

To Install just put the GameData.cff file in your Spellforce Platinum Edition\data folder. Please do a backup of the original GameData.cff file.

List of changes:
Humans:
- Recruit gets a shield and a bit more stamina
- Scout gets shortsword (cosmetic)
- Marksman gets dagger (cosmetic)
- Cleric gets aura of healing spell

Elves:
- Warder gets spear after upgrade and a bit more stamina
- Ranger gets +5% attack speed
- Healer gets symbol and aura of healing spell
- Windarcher gets a dagger after upgrade (cosmetic) and +5% attack speed
- Wintermage gets symbol and summon ice elemental spell
- Wanderer gets +5% attack speed
- Protector gets more stamina
- Druid gets symbol
- Elen's Gift also upgrades symbol equipped by spellcasters

Dwarves:
- Watchman gets a spear (cosmetic)
- Battlepriest gets aura of healing spell
- Elder gets conservation spell

Orcs:
- Building cost reduced by 30% for most buildings
- Spearman gets a shield after upgrade
- Fighter gets a shield instead of axe
- Drummer gets aura of inflexibility spell
- Hornblower gets aura of slow fighting spell

Trolls:
no modification to trolls yet

Dark Elves:
- Darkblade doesn't have lifetap spells and has increased armor class
- Battlemaster hammer is faster with less attack (same DPS)
