I have huge performance issues. When driving I have most of the time below 20 fps down to 10.
I have win10, GTX 970 and AMD FX 6300 and I got the GOG version of the game.
Without mods it runs much better but also not as great as it should, compared to other old games.
Any tips?

try this Github.com instead of voodoo , also lower draw distance in scripts/Mafia_widescreen_fix set New Distance =900.0

And u can change traffic spawn distance in Patcher.cfg set TrafficSpawnDistance = -250.0

The dll-file did the job.

Edit: I did a mistake. When trying the d3d8.dll I didn't install the real car facing mod. So I realized that it's just this mod which causes the low performance. I can live without that mod.
