Mission: Escape a high security Combine prison in the middle of the ocean.
Quick map. Features some new architecture and another looming Combine building. Interesting design, but felt a little unfinished and could've used more details.
Combat is light and minimal. Not the greatest encounters with enemies often streaming in through a doorway or appearing on an elevator. Felt like you were being hunted, but not very well.
The unarmed Hunter segments were unexpected and blood-pumping, but ended all too quickly.
Would like to see this setting fleshed out a bit more. It has promise and this was just a taste.
A very compelling map.
Another short but sweet mod made once again by Xblah. This supermax prison reminds me of Narkina 5 from Star Wars: Andor.
Gives Metastasis a run for it's money in the Combine Architecture department. Really goes hard with the Oppressive Aesthetic we know and love and even creating some new ones that feel just at home in the Half-Life Universe.
Short, but damn is it sweet!
