This is a small singleplayer map that replicates the first minigame from the Squid Game show, Red Light Green Light.
The map uses a lot of BLOOD effects to simulate the brutality of the mini-game in the actual show.
############ GAMEPLAY ############
The gameplay is simple. You move, you lose. Movement is registered only if you walk. You can move your head freely. Prone, crouch, jump, sprint and lean are disabled to make it a better challenge. Once the statue has turned you have to have zero velocity on your movement so you won't get eliminated. You have a small window of half a second to compensate for your speed once the statue plays the "busted" sound. You have 90 seconds to reach the finish line. If you reach the finish line and stay there you're safe. If you leave the finish line area you can lose. The game ends when the timer is over. If you die before the timer is over and don't want to wait for the timer, just restart level from menu.
############ PLAYERS ############
The 150 player count is achieved through scripted models not through AI since cod4 can't support more than 32 AI spawned at the same time. The human player is the 151st. The fake NPCs don't have collision. They have simple functionalities. Walk, stop, reach the finish line and stop and die if didn't stop in time. Each time the map restarts their reaction times and walk speeds are different so each player has a different level of skill in the game to make things seem a little bit more interesting and randomized.
