Наконец-таки долгожданная версия 2.0 реализована и доступна на странице загрузок Red Alert 2: Reborn! В ней вы найдёте множество новых юнитов, улучшенный ИИ, новые карты, новый саундтрек, улучшенный интерфейс и многое другое. Поверьте, этого стоило ждать!
Дальнейшие планы команды:
Как мы и планировали, 2.0 является последней версией Реборна. Всё что было запланировано мы по возможности сделали. От некоторых идей пришлось отказаться, ибо их оказалось просто невозможно сделать на этом движке. Единственная вещь возможная для реализации, но так и не реализованная в 2.0 - новая кампания. Увы не все члены команды настолько увлечены проектом, чтобы тратить время на обучение, изучение и, в последствии, на создание кампании. Но не смотря на это, всё ещё есть небольшая вероятность того, что новая кампания будет реализована в виде дополнительного контента. Если это всё-таки случится, то как минимум через 3-4 месяца.
А пока что мы займёмся поиском других возможных мест для самореализации (лично я всегда мечтал сделать JRPG) или просто отдохнём от всех этих производственных заморочек.

Release of version 2.0:
Finally, the long-awaited version 2.0 is realized and available on the downloads page Red Alert 2: Reborn! In it you will find many new units, improved AI, new maps, new soundtrack, an improved interface and much more. Believe me, this was worth the wait!
Future plans of the team:
As we planned, 2.0 is the latest version of Reborn. All that was planned, we possibly have done. By some of the ideas had to be abandoned, because they appeared simply impossible to do on this engine. The only one thing possible to implement, but not implemented in the 2.0 - the new campaign. Alas, not all team members are so passionate about the project, to spend time for learning, studying and, later, for create the campaign. But despite this, there is still a small chance that the new campaign will be realized in the form of additional content. If this does happen, then at least 3-4 months.
In the meantime, we will search for other possible places for self-actualization (personally, I always wanted to make a JRPG), or simply take a break from all of these production headache.

It looks really cool, but no success in making it work yet. When I start it, the program just shuts itself down before anything happens.
Do you installed 2.0 on original RA2:YR v1.001 or Reborn 1.2? You need a clean RA2:YR v1.001 for v2.0.
P.S. Try to setup compatibility with Win98\ME.
I recently wiped and re-installed all my files and haven't downloaded any mods since then, so it's clean.
I set it to compatibility mode for Windows 98/ME. Now it tells me that I need to insert the right CD. Maybe this is because I have The First Decade?

I installed C&C Red Alert 2: Reborn 2.0 ,but I have a problem with the language I pray your really nice,to help me, just how to change from Russian to English? That my true tapes where to get into that file and what needs to change,to me the whole menu was in English game because the Russian language I do not understand at all. Thank you in advance
can you make an installation guide? I seem to have troubles starting or even installing the game. many thanks
