Being a tweaked gfx_d3d_mp_x86_s where r_lodBias (level of detail) is changed to the max distance which allows high definition LODs to be maintained for the longest distance possible in-game. This mod was directly made possible by kpelfor's Call of Duty 2 Single Player Improvement patch. Using HxD editor, compared the gfx_d3d_x86_s.dll in the above link to the standard gfx_d3d_mp_x86_s for multiplayer and copied over the modified line item which set r_lodbias to -1000 allowing HD models to be shown over longer distances compared to vanilla. Full credit goes to kpelfor for the original modification to the dll file.
