I am pleased to announce that I am currently working on a mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl that allows you to play as a variety of mutants in the Zone.

Greetings, everyone.

Today is a very special day; Friday the 13th has that notorious place in everyone's mind for being the unluckiest day of the year. However, today's article is not about the negative effects that bad luck can bring, but the opposites that come with being part of an active and inspired modding community.

It is with great pleasure that I reveal my latest project to our wonderful community; Call of Chernobyl: Mutants Uprising. This mod, hence the title, allows players to take on the role of almost any mutant of their choosing. This mod will also allow players to make use of a variety of abilities, each of which are tailored to suit each and every mutant class in some way, shape or form.

A common example of this can be drawn from the Snork class, that of which will be featured in this mod; when playing as the Snork, players may detect an evident lack of manoeuvre when it comes to ranged attacks, but notice their potential to excel during those fateful encounters at close range. Each and every class comes with it's own skins and abilities.

Currently, I am running a series of tests and implementing my own tweaks for this mod to give players the best possible experience upon it's release. No release date has been determined yet, though I am very hopeful that this mod will be available to all of you soon. I have also included a few screenshots on this page for your viewing pleasure. More updates are due to come and more amendments will be made to this page.

On a final note, I have taken some time out of my day to create this page and this article to document any updates that will be made for this mod. I will also include a separate download link for this mod, along with all of it's patches, within a single download link on the Call of Chernobyl addons page for everyone to see so you would not have to navigate to this page every time you wish to download the mod or update your game with any released patches.

Until then, I will try my best to keep everyone posted on my progress and I will hopefully be seeing you all very soon.
