Battlefield Vietnam mod |

BushWar is set in the 70's and 80's. During that time PLAN guerrillas, Fapla and the Cuban Army were fighting against UNITA, the FNLA and the South African Defence Force for the control of Angola and the independance of Namibia. Most of the battles took place in southern Angola with a few smaller ones taking place in northern Namibia. The bush is very different from the jungle of Battlefield Vietnam or from maps set in the desert. Another reason for BushWar being popular could be the South African Weapons and Vehicles. Due to Apartheid sanctions were imposed upon South Africa and so they had to develop a lot of military equipment themselves, a lot of their equipment is unique and cannot be found in other mods or games. In addition to all the Battlefield Vietnam features which have been modyfied for BushWar, our mod features a flamethrower, exploding barrels and destroyable trees.

BushWar is proud to announce that it is pending release of our fourth version of BushWar (Third for Battlefield Vietnam). v0.35 is scheduled for release in the upcoming week and we need people willing to mirror and to host BushWar on their servers. BushWar is proud to announce that it is pending release of our fourth version of BushWar (Third for Battlefield Vietnam). v0.35 is scheduled for release in the upcoming week and we need people willing to mirror and to host BushWar on their servers. There is a bug that only allows the mod to run on Windows servers for now, and our devs are trying to isolate the problem as we speak, but it is not going to be fixed by the 0.35 release. There may be a subsequent patch to fix that problem. Anybody willing will be given the download early and recognition on our site. Our next major release will be in a few months, as it is slated to include many new features and maps to please all players. Thanks! Check us out at Bushwar.uni.cc
