Hi, i have a 4:3 resolution scale monitor, (1280 - 1024) and the ui of the menu goes off screen, i can still use it though thank god, but is there any way i can make it so that the menu fits my monitor resolution scale?

having the same problem, when i press "5" by default only a sound goes off as if i selected something but no menu appears.

Doesn't seem to work with latest version of IW4X. Had to update due to the minidump error crash and now nothing happens when I press bot menu.

Um i have a problem. Every time i try plying a match i get put in a third team somehow that only has me in it so everyone is displayed as an enemy but only 1 team will shoot at me. How do i fix this

I found a way to make this mod work for the steam version of MW2. just download the RSE mod, Place it in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 folder, press yes on overwrite all files. and then just follow these steps here. Moddb.com
and yes your gunna need to download (z_svr_loadM1.iwd) or else your gunna get script errors. also I found that I can only minimize the game when its on the multiplayer starting menu using the windows Key. also you don't have to use the "iw4mp.dat" to open the game but create a shortcut for "miw4mp.exe" because you won't be able to lunch it from steam anymore. you don't need to worry about the single player part because RSE only overwrites the MP part of the game.
the only reason why I did this is because my steam version never got the IWNetServer files "witch is bull!". and also mine as well help out my fellow gamers.

how to play with friends, I am using iw4x client ?
The bots aren't always good still. Sometimes they run into each other or run into walls, and they're either an easy kill or I'm the only one playing. They run around really fast and they're shown just sliding on the ground often. I've seen them exit doorways and they're floating in the air. The animation from standing to last stand is jumpy and I sometimes don't even notice they're dead, and before I know it they're on the ground killing me. If there's an easy way to fix this, let me know, but the movement system with the bots feels really broken sometimes.

Where do you put the folder? There's is no mod folder, and I made one but it doens't work either.
Now archived. We will see a complete rewrite sometime in the future.
Hopefully I can convince a dev at iw4x to implement the similar bot movement GSC functions that cod4x had implemented.

If the bot menu doesn't open, try adding bots via console (^)
Then type in:
/bots_manage_add x
where x is the desired number of bots

Why do I feel like this is better than any legit game's CPUs as of this modern day? 1. Im not being targeted like Im the only player there. 2. Im not having to be good and carry a team to win. and 3. I dont lose FPS having to load them into the game. Why cant real game programmers make bots like this?!
