Looks great, but, er... what's with the cartridge?
In Half-Life, the crossbow can fire 5 bolts at once; instead of the usual 1 in Half-Life 2.
Thats because it has a clip

THe HL1 Crossbow did.
Only weapon so far that I don't really like the look of. The bow itself is too small, I think, and the stock is too bulky. It doesn't look right somehow.
The modeling + texturing itself, though, is nothing short of breathtaking.

It's lighter than the old crossbow, and it has a hunting-type theme.

the cartridges i think contained the darts, like bullets. go load up a section of hl1 that had it or impulse101 it, you'll see

Mopst crossbows look like that but are just colored differently.
The wood looks like it's made of plastic. The only weapon you guys re-modeled that I don't like the look of!
Yeah, it's a shame really. I was trying to make my own to use, but entity hunter has a reskin of the HL2 crossbow so it looks like a Barnett Quad 400 so I'll use that instead.
I hope it can nail people to walls.

Its not a tranq that scientist in whatever level that was who siad its a tranq was wrong. I sat there for five hours looking at a hecu marine i shot with this. He never woke up. Its not a tranq.
if its not too late, improvements are:
make it like a modern composite crossbow (as HL1 bow was based)
show the darts sticking out of the cartridge so it doesn't look like bullets
crosbow needs to be more metallic not wooden
it looks like they took an m1 carbine and added a crossbow to the front
