BF2: Republic Combat brings the fan favorite CG show, 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' to the classic Battlefront everyone loves.
To install just extract the ECW compressed folder and then drag the newly non-compressed version to you gamedata>addon folder. And it should work! Also, it is very important that you delete the previous version of the mod from your addon folder before installing this one.
Battlefront II: Republic Combat is a mod that adds a new era to most land maps. The goal is not to repeat, remake, or represent the show in any way. My goal is to use the variety of things that the show gave us and add it to the game for enhanced gameplay.
Wow. It's 1/3 the size of version 1.1 yet has much more polished skins! I'm impressed.
I tried to cut out some unused assets for conveinence. Smaller file sizes are nice 'cause they don't take up as much space.
I love this mod, great skins and models!
The games crashes when either selecting the HA-B2 Super Battle Droid to spawn as (sometimes) or when trying to shoot its Arm Cannon (everytime) though ... and it crashes everytime when spawning as Tactical Droid too.
It also crashes often randomly for no obvious reason ... but I know that's difficult to pin down ...
TBH: Besides looking better overall I'll migrate back to v1.1 because it runs stable at least ... I hope you'll be able to fix the problems ;)
But once again, I really like this mod, keep up your great work! :D
hmm, that's weird. I've been testing the HA-B2 and Tactical Droid and both work fine for me. I don't experience any crashes but thank you for bringing this to my attention, I'll try to look further into this.
B U S I N E S S B I L L back at it again with another release of Battlefront 2 Republic Combat! Will it be the final version? Will Bill make more Battlefront Mods? Will he stream Pepperland Psychedelia to be DADDY Mike? All these questions will be answered after this break!
Hopefully it isn't the final version.
I have another project planned.
Next time I stream, I'll try to remember to play Pepperland Psychedelia just for you Mike.
Doesn't work with BFX for some reason. It's named the correct name under the eras, but simply plays as the GCA BFX era instead of this one.
they probably run off of the same era type (aka eraB_gamemode) if you know what I mean. For best results, you should probably use a mod loader so that mods don't overlap each other.
