Battle of Liberty City is a conversion mod map taking Liberty City from GTA III into Battlefront II. This mod contains a huge, detailed and partly remastered version of Staunton Island, made by Rockstar Games, adding in the possibility to capture dozens of command posts, race around the narrow streets by speeder bikes and tanks or to fly above tall roofs during sunset and dawn. On top of that, this map does have a short campaign mission, where you can play as Spider-Man and compete in races across the town and fight off against the mighty Venom. Additionally all new marvel characters (Spiderman (Peter and Miles), Venom and Doctor Octavius) can be played in conquest as well. Except for the campaign everything works well either in singleplayer or multiplayer.

Hello there and thank you for downloading Battle of Liberty City 1.0.
This release is meant to be played and tested. Some bugs are still present (e.g. glitched texture,
collision not correctly, the possibility of unexpected crashes...) and will be fixed in the
upcoming version thatt will contain new gamemodes and playable characters from various
Grand Theft Auto titles.
The map itself as well as any components of course are going to be improved over time. So far this
release runs stable so far. All commandposts can be captured, both teams start with a huge amount of
reinforcements and the battle literally takes days to finish (ingame days).
The map comes with a dynamic day/night cycle, as well as rain coming at unexpected moments. Due to its
"size", a regular battle can take 20-40 minutes to finish.
There are couple buildings with yellow markers that can be entered.
This map also works in multiplayer.
=MARVEL ERA=
This map comes with a new era: Marvel.
You can now play as Spider-Man (Peter Parker and Miles Morales), as Venom and as Doctor Octavius in conquest mode alongsides clones and battle droids.
There is also a campaign with set up objecttives and races to finish.

1. Drag and drop OR extract the folder "GTA" into:
DISC: ...\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon
STEAM: ...\Steam\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon
1a. In case there is no Addon folder you'll need to create one.
-Patch 1.3 is recommended to use free camera and fake console to play different music in game.
Additional: There is a new into movie that plays anytime you launch the map. You can only install this movie manually:
1. Extract ingame_new.mvs into:
DISC: ...\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\data\_lvl_pc\movies
STEAM: ...\Steam\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\data\_lvl_pc\movies
2. Rename existing ingame.mvs into ingame_.mvs
3. Rename existing ingame_new.mvs into ingame.mvs
-This way the original movie file containing all ingame movies (501st campaign, gc end screens etc...) are backed up by renaming it.
-Sadly this is the only known way to add in additional movies to this game.

-In French it's: ingamefr.mvs
-ingameuk.mvs is irrelevant

Notes on Doctor Octavius:
-Sprinting does deal damage
-Sprinting+Jump can sometimes be buggy
-Wall attaching is actually a glitch. Often he does get stuck at a wall at any height and can jump up and repeat this step.
(Sometimes it works better, on some buildings it works like a charm, and some barely do work at all)

Dude please don't abandon this mod it's amazing, it's like you are making an entire new different game inside a videogame already, you are making a Marvel beat em up game that is actually fun to play, please keep the mod and update it as when as you can, i got idea for heroes and vilians that will work with the mod perfectly

Villians: Carnage, Magneto, Abomination, Red Skull, Dr Doom, Thanos War, Scorpion, Lady Deathstrike, Apocalypse, Mandarin, Super Skrull, Sabertooth
I think they will work really well on ground fights and would be compatible with Battlefront 2, mod is still amazing even without them but that's just a suggestion, anyway keep the attention for the mod dude I am sure you will make it one of the best mods for Battlefront 2 one day, your mod almost reminds me of a game called Marvel Nemesis go check that game out it will help you figure out how to make the mod better and it will give u ideas
