Base 2 Base is a Half-Life 2 Multiplayer Modification which puts 2 teams against each other (Red & Blue) and they have to fight to reach a teleport that is above the enemies base. When a player from that team goes through the teleport they are teleported to a safehouse where they can watch the battlefield on a monitor. First team to have all of their players through the teleport into the safehouse wins, and if a player is in the safehouse and wants to return to the battlefield they can do so by suiciding.

As you may have seen in the media page I have just finished implementing a healthbar and thirdperson system, thanks to Echo for helping me with the thirdperson system.

The thirdperson feature is optional however so good news if you like first person view! Also if you want to use the sniper but you like thirdperson view, don't worry! the sniper has not been affected at all by this addition, the scope on the sniper is as good as ever.

The healthbar has also been added I just thought it would be a nice addition and would certainly be a change from boring hl2, it acts just as your normal health except instead of numbers it shows your health in the form of a bar.

And finally if you hadn't noticed I also changed the hud font from the boring old over used Half-Life 2 font to Berlin Sans FB.

And some bad news, the system that I had created in hammer did not work, so we will have to recreate it by coding new entites and adding them to the fgd (we were going to recreate it using code eventually anyway because its more efficient and easier for mappers, but for the first release we were going to use hammer entities only obviously as it was easier for us to make), the good news from this though is that mappers can create maps for the mod much easier then using so many entities that they make your brain explode.

So hopefully we can see some nice community maps created!
