Ballistic Weapons replaces UT2004's wepaons with a batch of new, realistic, high quality weapons using an enhanced weapons sytem with reloading, aiming, firemodes, improved damage behaviour and much more to give the game a more tactical style. All the items have also been replaced and the mod uses totally original sounds and effects. The entire mod is implemented through a mutator so it is compatible with all gametypes and many different mods. It also comes with a melee mutator to play using only the melee weapons. Decent bot support has been included, allowing the bots to use all the new weapons. The mod has also been designed to be very mod friendly so as to serve as a base for other mods allowing most features and systems to be implemented using just the default properties of new weapons. A manual is included with the mod as well.

Hello! With Ballistic Weapons Complete Collection Version 1.0 only 1 month away from release, production is far ahead of schedule and the following update will be packed full with new content which we cannot wait to share with you! In this article, we shall be showing off a number of weapons which have been neglected over the years and we shall be discussing our future plans for all of these weapons.

2 Bonus Packs we have in mind for the remaster project would be the "Jack carver and Fische11 V5 for BW 2.5" and the "Herr Doctor Bonus Pack V1.2". Both these packs have amazing weapons and content we wish to bring over to the complete collection. However alot of these concepts do not fit our rules regarding content integration. Which is why we have put alot of effort into remastering these weapons. More Details Below!

M7A3 Sub Assault Rifle

As part of the Jack Carver and Fische Pack for BW2.5, The M7A3 needed some animation work. Once the new animations were put in place, there was need to remove the scope and play with the available ACOG on the weapon. These New Animations, Followed with new sounds and Changed Game play make it a fine addition to the Complete Collection

KG16 Assault Pistol

As Part of the Herr Doctors Pack for 2.5, This pistol aimed to be something similar to the MD24. We just spiced it up with a set of new animations to put it in line with the other pistols.

P90 Arctic Control Unit

As part of the Jack Carver and Fische Pack for BW2.5, The P90 deserved a lovely remaster. Not only were the animations updated but the texture was changed to make the weapon stand out from its urban predecessor.

SPAS-12 Automatic Shotgun

As part of the Jack Carver and Fische Pack for BW2.5, The Spas was in need of some new animations. The new animations play better with aiming the weapon down sight and feel alot smoother when shooting

M99 ECS Anti-Tank Rifle

As part of the Jack Carver and Fische Pack for BW2.5, The M99 was always a tough weapon to work with. Its slow reload always put you out of sync with the rest of the game. Not only have we introduced a faster reload animation, but we have made it so that the weapon will reload straight away after it has been shot, without the use of the reload key. Similar to that of the Redwood Coach Gun.

RGP7 Soldier Rocket Launcher

As part of the Jack Carver and Fische Pack for BW2.5, The RGP7 was a 1 Shot 1 kill Rocket Launcher. The New version sees the introduction of a shovel reload of smaller high velocity rockets along with ROCKET JUMPING. Similar to what we see in Team Fortress 2! Soo much fun to mess around with and a great way to get you out of sticky situations!

USP-S 23 Pistol

As part of the Jack Carver and Fische Pack for BW2.5, The Iconic MK23 Pistol was almost untouched by the remaster, but we couldnt help ourselfes! A new Texture and a new set of animations do this model proud and fit really well with the rest of the complete collection!

Hi Lad. Will only be remaking animations for the weapons that need them. Many of the 2.5 weapons have already got new animations to assist faster play, such as the Deermaster and the M46 Red Dot Sight. Apart from these additions, we have no plan to do any animations for any weapons, unless needed. What weapons specifically were you hoping to see a reanimation from? Would love to hear some suggestions :)

Oh, you know.. H&K Slap for XK2 SMG or AR Slap for M50, that kind of thing... or maybe real reloading for SPAS-12. :P

The SPAS-12 has had a full new set of reanimations. It was needed and looks alot smoother than before. It is shown off in the video above. Regarding weapon slaps, in newer animations for new weapons, i am starting to incorporate some more complicated reload animations that look cool and are pleasing to the eye.

Tbe SPAS lacked of semi auto fire and yes the animations weren't very good before
