This mod is based on the Babylon 5 Universe by J. Michael Straczynski. It's purpose is to convert the game as close as to the B5 universe as the game will allow. Planned Features: -18 Cannon, 4 Semi-Cannon, 2 Non-Cannon Flyable Ships including the famous ISA Whitestar and the Liandra from The Legend of the Rangers -23 Cannon, 8 Semi-Cannon Capital, 1 non-cannon Ships Including the famous Warlock, Omega-X, and a special redo of the Victory Class Whitestar Destroyer with the Vorlon Armor adapted. -15 types of Shuttles/Transports -5 types of stations including Babylon 5 -Hyperspace Travel in Single Player -Each ship has it's own type of weapon systems. -Capital ships able to fire three types of weapons from differnt points.(XWA only exploited two from one point) -Liandra with Turret Useability so you can fly her/or go into the turret to fire it's guns/In MP, one person can fly and another person can man the guns. Is there going to be a SP campaign?I've got an ancient program that is called XWAMDK1 or X-Wing Mission Design Kit.Never really got anywhere with it as it was difficult to use due to the fact there was no help file or instructions on how to use it....

Phase 4 of the project will be the start of a SP campain, but I am still on Phase 1. Unfortunatly I don't know if I'll ever get to phase 4 doing the entire project by myself. I've used Allied (I actually bought it) and it works decently.

Do you need the orginal game for this?
Trident:
Good question. Unfortunatly yes you will need the original game to use this. And to answer another question, Yes it is hard to find the game anymore because LA quit selling good games and started selling bad games (They are going to start selling force commander again... a very big bomb of theirs)

have yet to come up with an solid idea for the SP campain since working on the game itself is taking all of my time. So far, just generally, what ideas has ran though my mind is:
1: A re-creation of the Dilgar War
2: About the Rangers
3: The Shadow War
4: EA Civil War (easy to do)
5: A new EA trainee gets prepared for the E/M War
There is so many ships I'm having in this mod, the possiblities of what I could do for a campain can encompase just about anything worth playing.
But unless I start getting some serious help, I don't know if I'll even get the models I want done, actually done.

General Question:
What is the specs that the mod will need?
Trident:
Well it is very uncertain at the time. All I can say before I get to deep is hopefully this minimum:
1.0 ghz processor
256 meg ram
64 meg 3d Video card
800 meg Hard drive space
Joystick

General Question:
The text in my normal X-wing alliance is messed up, will the mod fix it?
Trident:
Unfortunatly, No. The garbled text is hardware specific and each card/system requires a slight tweaking or software or patches in order to work correctly. There is no universal patch due to no source code of the game availible.

General Question:
Will your mod have newtonian physics flight model?
Trident:
No. The physics of the game cannot be altered due to the lack of source code.
