My antivirus keeps flagging this as malware. Does anyone else have this problem?
Hey.
Some antivirus software wrongly flags the mod's .exe due to the way Cheat Engine works (the software it's based on).
If you don't want to run the exe (understandable), an alternative is to download Cheat Engine from their official site and use the .CT file in the zip.

when i run it i press f2 the text just glows red and when i press f3 the text doesnt do anything and nothing happens in game of assassins creed 2 i can see the box on my second monior while im in game and i press the keys and nothing happens apart from the box highlighted red
It sounds like you don't have the right version of AssassinsCreedIIGame.exe for this version of the mod. Try using the Steam version of the mod (AC2VFM_steam.zip), and if you're using the Uplay version of the game, also try running the AC2 updater at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed II\AssassinsCreedII.exe"

Hi, did you install AC2 from Steam/Uplay? Have you tried both the steam and Uplay versions of the mod?
I install the game from uplay but it's okay now, i pay the deluxe version of the game on epic game store for 2.99 € and the mod works.I use the AC2VFM steam version. Your mod is amazing, you did a great job.

Unfortunately 2 makes my game crash... Using Steam ver.
this is the uplay version. Go see the steam version
I noticed a small bug where the roof hide spots don't have the fabric on them when using this mod, its just a wooden frame, you can even see it in you're pic to the top right, they pop in when very close to them, without the mod there always visible but just lower quality at far away then higher quality up close
Also would it be possible for a version with an even longer view distance?
There also a funny bug happening with this mod, some of the ai that walk around the cities that have a cape on, the cape falls off and just floats in the air
is this safe lol?
Its safe but has bugs like whats mentioned above.
