Recently we have tested the mod ingame so far, we still have alot of tweeking to do to get it right. We recently lost alot of our members of the team for inactive reasons. Good thing ive been learning stuff that is important for a mod and found a good dedicated coder. But in other news we have our first models in-game!
Looks cool but think you should use a slightly darker shade of green. Good work otherwise
No that's not it. Try using the phong shader for the plastic. Its easy to do, just copy the qc. from a phong model (Episode two) to your qc. Also try making scratch marks with a normal map. Get a good camera and zoom in on a scratched plastic surface and normalize it.
Another good idea would be to simulate the press marks, you know the bumpy line that goes around the whole toy, when you make plastic toys. And try not to have so many hard adges on your models.
Sorry for tripple posting, but I could do the normal map textures for you if you send the model to me. I work as a texture artist for the Dreamscape mod, and could help out.
i am not that great of a texture artist, all i pretty know how to do is the color itself.
haha thats original!
