Arctika is set in the near future. The Arctic regions of the world are now mostly controlled by two large Corporations - Ravencom and Unicorp. In our Multiplayer war these two corporate giants do battle to control the frozen wastelands. A Singleplayer version is also already underway in which you play Jackson Riggs, hired by Unicorp. They drop you off at their corporate headquarters in Anchorage. You must brave the bitter cold , snow and ice, to reach their Deep Arctic Research Station. The mod is currently on hold

Finally, thanks to DocHolliday for his help in getting the Defcon Software sites back up. is finally back up. Only one mod team member has told me he is not coming back many told me they are still here to help. I will be stepping down as mod team leader as soon as a suibtable replacement is found. The

Only one mod team member has told me he is not coming back many told me they are still here to help.
I will be stepping down as mod team leader as soon as a suibtable replacement is found. The job has been offered to British Bomber who is considering it.

We will work on getting the forum also back up by months end. Our SP should be ready for release perhaps as early as Sept 1.

I just want to personally thanks Tompko, BB, PC Punisher, Bone, Awesome Possum, Nuke for all sticking around for the three months I was AFK.

My goals for Arctika have now changed. I just want to see our SP finished even if its not half as long a mission as planned. Im not worried about getting out a bunch of MP maps either. Just a few good ones. If Ziro comes back to finish his coding we will be all set.
