Arctic Realism adds coastal defence missiles to NWAC.
This allows for a cheap system of combating green and brown water enemy activity, and is much harder to detect on radar than a ship, but much easier to defeat once detected.
The following countries have coastal defence systems:
Russian Federation
- K-300P Bastion-P [SSC-5] (300 km)
Republic of Poland
- Naval Strike Missile (185 km)
- RBS-15 Mk. II (75 km)
Republic of Finland
- Naval Strike Missile (185 km)
- RBS-15 Mk. II (75 km)
Poland and Finland use these coastal defences for lack of strong navies, but Russia seems to use it as a further extension of their 'missiles wherever they'll fit' doctrine.
