Alyss Source This project is an attempt to remake and re-imagine, the game “American Mcgee’s Alice”, from the now rather dated engine, to that of the source engine, and in the process expand upon and improve the overall feel and depth to the game. The aim is to remake the entire game to today’s standards, expanding levels to be bigger and more atmospheric, reworking the very basic cut scenes into engaging cinematic to drive the story forward, introduce physics as both a weapon and solution to various puzzles, and to bring the graphics to present day quality/detail expectations.

The Alyss source project (a remake of American Mcgee's Alice on the Source engine), is recruiting team members.

The project is in its infancy and as such needs concept artists and designers for maps/mappers who also design the levels.

This is an labour of love to remake the entire game and give it a face lift (reimagine some of the maps/puzzles with the flexibility of the Source engine and to bring the game bang up to date.

Concept artists and designers are the skill that are needed right now as we need to redesign/remake every character in more detail according to the original model of the original concepts, and the maps need redesigning to allow for physics and the last decades work of engine improvement.

Anyone interested please just mail me, any help is welcome from just a single design/drawing/information that might be helpful, (links to old info about material that never made it into the game), to committing more fully to a position.

I myself am a 3D modeler and as such will be making 3D content.

Thanks
Null.
