Happy April, we hope you're all safe and well! It's time for another artist spotlight, and this time it's for a 3D artist! Remnant has been an absolute joy to work with, bringing to life some of the prop and furniture concepts our 2D artists have produced! You'll see a lot of his work all throughout Alinor, just look at that gorgeous weapon rack right there!
Here's what Remnant has to say:
On the outside, we so often only see the final moments of someone's work. Whether that be a work of art for us to get lost in or a new piece of technology that will take us further into the 21st century. Only rarely do we have the opportunity to see the struggles. The blood, sweat and tears that all of us go through, we more often than not see those represented as a great distance between ourselves and someone that we are inspired by. We don't see the internet searches, the conversations, the questions, that helped to reach that inspiring result. Nobody's journey is easy. But it is a journey we all take together whether it be through that inspiration, or those shared tears, or the questions you asked or answered. My artistic journey through college and so far in Alinor was not done alone. It was not done without the struggles. I have learned and taught. I have cried and reached out. I have succeeded and failed. I will continue on.

Some great words there from Remnant. It's no secret that every asset goes through a long development pipeline, and even the smallest of props is well enough considered to seamlessly fit into the world we're creating.
