The Telic Campaign is an unofficial expansion pack for the Unreal Tournament 2004 award winning total conversion, Alien Swarm. In Alien Swarm, you control a squad of space marines through dangerous missions agaisnt hordes of hostile aliens. The game supports single and coop multiplayer modes. The Telic Expansion Pack builds upon this extremely fun gameplay by bringing eight new, unique missions in the form of a complete campaign. In addition to the maps, Telic expands the Alien Swarm universe with new weapons, extra items, more dangerous enemies, original mission objectives and various modifications to the standard game rules. The basic principles of Alien Swarm are retained: vibrant non-stop action and challenging situations that require active cooperation from the whole team. The 1.3 patch for Alien Swarm and Alien Swarm: The Telic Campaign will be released simultaneously on the 16th of December. The new patch contains updates most map, balance adjustments and many bug fixes. The Telic Campaign is an unofficial expansion pack that brings 8 new missions and loads of other additions to the game.
All marines should resume their morning workouts and recertify on all standard weapons at the shooting range. Vacation is almost over.

from what i'm infering, they are not the same team, telic campaign is an "unoficial" expansion pack, and their websites are different. blackcatgames.com is where you'll find the hl2 version. looks good though, can't wait to give this a shot.

Yea, the team behind the Telic campaign are not Black Cat Games (who are still working on Alien Swarm: Infested, the Source Engine version), although they have a very good relation with them :)
