Alchemilla Mod is an attempt to recreate original atmosphere of cult game Silent Hill on the Source Engine. It is not a rebuild of one of the games of series, it is its own history on its own reasons. Above all things is a project developed for fanatics of the original game.

Hello again, SH players. We decided to let you know that we are working on major patch for our game. It will fix a lot of bugs an glitches, so you can replay the game once more in comfortable manner.

We almost finished work on game fixes, added some new props, static maps to Apartments and Gigastore Shopping Center. Also want to place same maps to Alchemilla Hospital. Some scripts for puzzles were fixed too.

More interesting thing is that our programmer is working on Oculus Rift support, so that should cost your expectations. We dont know clearly when he will finish his work so, guys, just keep waiting, please.

I'm sure it's on their mind. Once someone brave enough to give enemy animation a try... they'll be glad to update on this once again. :)

I know that they really wanted to add those to the mod, but there's no coders/programmers/modellers/texturers that wanted to help.

I wanted to have those in the mod as well, but...

I'm pretty sure adding those would no longer matter.

Since, you know, players would practically be playing the exact same game with all the stories and puzzles already figured out but with enemies and guns.

Like playing Portal for the umpteenth time, but with robot enemies and blasters scattered throughout the complex before finishing the rooms.

It's not that important anyway, i don't want to force the creators to do what they don't want to do, that'll be ruining the purpose of modding.

I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure a lot of others are with me on this. I've been holding off playing it specifically because I'm waiting for these elements to be implemented. The game is a great puzzle game as is from what I've seen on youtube videos, but I'm waiting out to play it myself until there's more to it. I have faith that you guys will find an animator!

Dude, I don't know, but I feel like the game it's perfect the way it is right now. I totally loved the fact that there were no enemies. I sent you guys an e-mail as well in which I said how amazing the mod was for me because of the perfect atmosphere you managed to catch!

Congrats, please consider twice about this. Adding enemies may ruin the experience somehow.

The game is amazing as it is right now. I expected jumpscares and I was afraid the entire time. But you didn't rely on jumpscares to make me scared like hell and that is why I highly recommend this game and why I wrote a review on our website about it.

Keep up the awesome work!

it`s all about people. If they let us know about their skills in animation and code and also will DO that kind of things without leaving us on half way - maybe u will see Alchemilla with guns and NPCs.

Hey, I'm user Jam6i from the silent hill community forum. I was told you wanted the maps I made. Are those the maps you are including in the patch? If so, I need to know if there are any changes you would like me to make to them. I can make any edits you need. I also need to know if you are adding anything more to the town (like new building location names or such) because I'm woking on a full scale SH2 styled town map (its already done) and would like to include any more new locations you might add in. In this full town map I've included your three locations near the general store (Hungry Pig, Dry Cleaners and Pet Center) as well as one location on Simmons Street (Odeon). I was not sure where you wanted this to be, so I've placed it between Marigold and Mushnick's Florist. That seemed like the right location. I also need to know if you are happy with me calling that new street where Norman's house is "White St." Is that okay with you or did you plan on calling that something else? If you would like, I can give you a Town map specifically for the mod from my SH2 full scale map that will include your new locations. Let me know. By the way I love your game. I know a number of people are complaining about lack of enemies, but this is not an issue with me. To me, Silent Hill has always been about environment, puzzles, story, location. Not enemies. We've already seen what happens when combat becomes the focus (Homecoming). I'm perfectly fine with this just being a puzzle exploration game since SH has always been about puzzles and exploration. You guys did a hell of a job on this game. Thank you!

Jam6i, yes your maps are very useful and will be added to upcoming patch. We dont need town maps. The primal maps are for hospital (3 floors+basement). No red marks. You can add me on skype (diolator) and send me these maps if you will make them. Thanks

I assumed you would take the hospital maps from existing games, but if you do want me to make some custom ones I'll see what I can do. When do you guys plan on releasing the patch? I might not have hospital maps on time for the patch if it's coming very soon.

I'm going to make some changes to the shopping center map. I need to confirm you are calling it Silent Hill Town Center (since that's what it is). The shopping center map you have now is not the one you will want to use once you see the new one.

Started on the hospital maps. They're turning out really good. I noticed an error in the game. You've mislabeled rooms 205 and 206. They should be switched around. The contents of the room are fine. I guess all you'd have to do is switch the name plates around, that would correct it. I'll have them labeled on the map correctly. Besides that it's all great.

Yes, you can credit me as jam6i (lowercase "j"). I only have two things I have to ask (I can't contact you through skype, so I have to ask here, I apologize). in the town center, there is a shop in the upper right that is not given a name or is given access to. I need to know if you have a name for this shop, and if so could you tell me what you would like me to call it? If you do not give a name for this shop I will pull a name from Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. This shop needs a name, because it looks weird to have a name for every shop except one. Second, do you have a name for the apartment complex? I'm making a second version of the apartment maps and need to know if you have a name for the apartments, or do you simply call it "Apartments"? I would rather you guys have a name for this level so I could put it on the map. You can respond in the silenthillcommunity map thread if you can't respond here. Those two things are the only things I need to finish.

Okay I have a final set of all the maps ready to give to you once I get a name for the apartment. I corrected some errors and made the floor plan more accurate on some pages. Whatever images you got before are old, so don't use them unless you really have to, but these new ones are much better versions. Just waiting for a name.

Jam6i ,you are correct sir :)

But u have to careful that the game doesn't feel "dead"

There's alot of "horror" games out there that are boring.
