New update - 0.4.2 has gives extensive flavor for a few nations as well as introduces new mechanics for the player. It also has a few key bugfixes and includes reworks for some areas in game
[Flavor&Map changes]
-Introduced a new prime minister system (any nation can choose a minister from a certain estates providing modifiers. The modifers and what bonuses or debuffs they give you, depends on the estate influence in your country, still work in progress)
-Reworked the India region, adding new nations in southern India
-Reworked the nigeria region and the areas around it, making it reflect the political situation in 1700 more accuratly
-Parts of southern america has been de-colonized to make it reflect the real extend of the spanish and portugese colonial rule. (Still work in progress and subject to change, namely we may add new provinces to the region)
-Added new native nations for both south and north america
-Added a few new provinces to refect some of the borders a bit better (like ottomans owning azov etc.)
-Added historical forts all around the world
-Pop changes to asia to make it more historicly accurate
-Added cores to the north american natives on the birtish and french colonies
-Reworked the Mughals collapse event (player is no longer forced to spit out nations, they break away gradually and is now much more dynamic)
-Reworked the Austrian Imperial cb (It works similarly to Imperial Liberation in Eu4- Any nation that is not part of the HRE and has a province with cores of a HRE member can have a war declared by the current emperor to gain that province back)
-Flavor events and decision added for: Maratha, Poland-Lithuania, Bourbon France, Russia and Austria
-Added a India scramble cb (it works similarly to hpm's/hfm's africa scramble cb giving an option to eat any neighbouring indian states. This cb activates after taking "The constitution" tech which can be teaken after year 1765.)
-Added generic decisions for all colonial nations to improve their pop, army, and immigration to make the early game less tedious
-Prussia can now initiate the Partitions of PLC
-Added the 2nd and 3rd plc partition, they will happen respectivly 3 and 6 years after the first one
-Added event for the War of the Polish Succesion
-changed the way French Revolution happens, France can no longer just summon estates general just by getting to a certain tech
-Great Britian can now be formed after teaking a tech unlocked after 1705 rather then 1715
-Added new Partys for: United States, Poland-Lithuania, Sweden, France and Great Britian
-Reworked the German provinces to have less exclaves, in order to improve the warfare there
-Added back the decision to Form Scandinavia
-Temporarly removed the decisions related to formation of Germany(we'll add it back once we do HRE properly :P )
-New Governor events for Ottomans
-Events for Russia to settle Alaska
[Ai]
-For this patch Ai has been made more agressive, they will justify wargoals more often
-Ai will have slightly smaller navies and bigger armies
[Fixes]
-Fixed the bug where britian would only have a radical party
-Fixed pops needing goods that doesn't exist
-Fixed the bug where clicking on granadiers tech crashes the game
-Fixed the bug where Thirteen colonies claims on florida would result in Usa getting the cores instead
-The french peace deal after the spanish succesion is fixed (now it actually happens)
-Added back the hfm options
-Fixed the bug where plc would form poland
-Fixed the Dominum Marum Baltici decision
-Basic techs added for HRE minors which didn't have them
-Fixed the bug where picking certain estate reforms would crash the game
-Made budget ui more readable
[Economy]
-We tried to implement a nerf to asia industry wise and we implemented a new system to hamper their industry growth, which can be reformed out off (This change is in it's very early stages and is implemented only for 5 nations: Mughals, Qing, Korea, Bengal and maratha if it is a great power. We would very much like to hear from you guys how their industry scores are doing in mid and late game, so let us know on our discord server!)
[Units]
-All Cavalery units had been given a significant attack boost
-Heavy artillery can now be unlocked at a later tech (1740)

so should there be something other elsei clear
go over to our discord if the issue continues, but my best bet is to either reinstall, make sure you're vicy 3.04 patch and check if ur base game even runs
Please, fix the error of not being able to select units of the army. excellent mod. Oh, and by the way, why does the screen look so blue?😅
I changed it, what's the issue with those armies? Everything works fine with them on our end
Playing Kongo, I noticed sometime after 1765 most my industries became a lot less profitable or are running at a loss.
Looking at the Trade screen, I think it's down to Qing Empire flooding the market with their massive industry (not sure why they suddenly produce so much). Their Industry score is 48000.
Probably related, I noticed some African nations with small population have around 100 Industry score, which they get by subsidizing their unprofitable industry to employ many Craftsmen.
With the recent asia balance we more or less were able to bring asia under control industry-wise. Unfortunetly i included the option to reform out off the debuffs they get (What happened to you past 1765 you can treat as more or less china civillizing in base game). We hope to finally balance it out for good in the next patch, which will bring much needed changes to the economy (goods etc.)
Awesome, keep up the good work.
There's probably no easy solution for minor nations packing 100+ Industry score from subsidized Craftsmen though, right?
Not sure tbh, we'll have to look into it a bit more, africa hasn't been exacly our top priority so far
always crashed after 30 minutes of gameplay is there any issue with the mod or it is just me ?
I think it's just you, check if ur on 3.04, if you have any more issues please report them on our discord where we can actually help
A note on the state of economy. I am playing super-advanced Radical Kongo, with almost max Development and being always on top of Commerce and Industry tech. I have played until 1810, but noticed the following problems decades before:
- I suspect there is a massive money under-supply. My game has massive deflation going, with prices on all goods (bar 3 exceptions) floating near or at the minimum
- Half of world's production ends up in trash, since nobody cannot seem to afford to pay
- To try and cause inflation, I tried injecting a lot of money into my economy (and by extension, to try and help the world's economy) through the "money" cheat for the last half of the century, dropping taxes to 0%, subsidizing imports and maxing out all spending sliders. Most my population has Everyday Needs only slightly fulfilled, even though I produce EVERYTHING domestically.
- The exception to the massive over-supply of goods are Wool, Coffee and Tobacco (especially the last two, which would need 5x production to fulfill world's demand)
I first suspected everyone is just storing the money in their treasuries, but checking out economies of the biggest nations, only Great Britain and China are sitting on 100+ Millions Pounds.
I am not sure how the economy really works, but the solution is probably at least doubling the amount of money production. Or having money production scale a lot more in the second half of the game.
I did also just notice I have 25 million in the National Bank. Probably all from Gentry. This could be part of the issue.
Also, there's something wrong with the Navy techs. The last ship that unlocks is Commerce Raider, after that the bigger ship never unlock (checked around the map, and everybody is stuck at Commerce Raiders)
Glad to know, i assume the issues with the economy were more or less coused by the goods which still are yet to change. I recommand viewing the dev version of the mod if ur still are intrested in testing the economy, becouse the goods were more or less overhouled just yesterday. Stuff like dyes being the most profitable good is gone now and we hope to finally rework the economy fully in the following weeks. The dev version is available on our discord server and i if u want to post any suggestions that's where you can find all of our devs. We'll also look into the navy problem you pointed out
Also economy post 1770s tends to be overwhelmed by the chinese and asian goods which has been changed already for the dev version
Awesome, looking forward to seeing the updated model.
This one was already very fun to play with.
Asian goods definitely started the market crash, and I guess the world simply ran out of money after that. Only China and GB were sitting on 100 million Pounds, everyone else was near or at 0 in their Treasury (and of course, a lot of Bankruptcies everywhere).
Last thing, is Enlightened ideology supposed to spawn or not? I saw it exists in the game-files, but it never appeared in my game.
Nope it isn't supposed to spawn, we're still sort of figuring out if to implement it at all
when I hover over the "naezami jadidi" event for the ottomans the game crashes
This was already reported, fix for this will come out with the next update
understandable have a nice day.
crashes 5 secs after the game loads it crashed after creating hisotry finshed

Nope, what you shown is an naval ensign and i can't find any evidence for it being an ottoman flag in 1700, sorry
crashed on apdating hisotry any help?
Either verify game cache on steam or reinstall the mod. If neither works report in our discord please so we can get further details
