Abandoned Town is a cryengine1 map set in a city like Pripyat. Technically more a map than a mod, it is composed mainly of non-vanilla objects. City buildings, streets and ambience are all inspired by STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl. The city landscape has been created by moddb member Vikom, and is largely complete. I will be doing the completing, ie Mission.lua, radar points, triggers, screen text, save points etc., plus my own ideas and add-ons.

These newspapers are scattered around the map, to inform about the Reactor meltdown, widespread contamination of air and surrounding environment, effect on people and wildlife, cleanup, and background information on Chernobyl accident and the abandoned city of Pripyat.
Apologies to Russian and Ukrainian players of FarCry, I don't understand Russian language very well.

If I got it right, Chernobyl was supposed to be something extremely badass. A Zaporozhian NPP is the 5th biggest NPP in the world. It has 6 reactors VVER 1000.
Chernobyl has RBMK 1000 reactors. They work differently but the output seems to be similar. It had 4 functioning reactors, 2 under construction and I heard that on the other bank of the Pripyat river, there were supposed to be another 6 reactors. (I read that but I don't have a proof)
Also, Enerhodar (equivalent to Zaporozhia's Pripyat) has 54k residents and Pripyat had almost 50k. According to a blueprint seen in a documentary about the town, filmed before the disaster, the town was supposed to have around 10 microdistricts. Now, it has only 5.
