In the search for a replacement for Gamespy, and reviewing many other options this seems like a very capable and the best replacement. This is what could it potentially add to the game:
-Eliminate the reliance of IRC servers.
-A chat interface that won't take up your entire desktop while it runs.
-Friends list, both in an outside the game.
-Leaderboards could be operated inside the game
-Team/group management
-Positive user identification
-Free to use
-Messaging system
