The Northern Excursion mod (once called the "Extreme Realism" mod) is a game-enhancement mod that introduces a new faction, the "North American Coalition" (NAC), re-introduces the jet fighter/bomber air vehicle types from Battlefield 2 and also brings back old features which were left out of the original Battlefield 2142 such as stationary machine guns, visual effects, unused voice overs and more.
I got some help from 7Game from the Combat mod for Battlefield 2.
He made these beautiful animations for the NAC assault rifle :D
I know the idle to zoom animation looks rather weird but this is because the tweak file for the animations seems to be having a conflict with another one.

to be honest the animations are pretty good !
one thing that i should suggest is to use a more futuristic sound for the bullets , the sound feels like firing a 1970 rifle

I think the sound is cool, it's different from the other weapons in the game, so I think it should stay.
We've now replaced the M91-LAR fire sound. In a newer video, we will show it along with something else as an extra thing.
I just want to say something about the reloading, it sounds like when he puts it in, it just sounds like plastic being stuffed inside the gun, just my opinion.
