Yet even as the two nations threaten each other with conquest, an even greater threat looms, ready to exterminate them both. The Sh'we'pel, a powerful race almost as ancient as the cosmos themselves, stand ready to enslave mankind for genetic experiments, using them as nothing but expendable supersoldiers against their alien enemies.
