1944 is dedicated simulation to the era. Started as an indie game using custom built engines. Frantic Games have opted to develop using the next generation engine Reality Engine. The core feature of 1944 is the unique way in which the AI handles and manages every aspect of the game. Allowing the game to be moved easily across various engines, and for mods to be created using basic XML files. To test the AI system, Frantic Games are rolling out several mods, that will focus in on some core aspects of 1944 : D-Day. Allowing players to get a unique and up close view of what the full commercial release will entail. Each Mod will feature: -Single Player Scenarios (Core battles during D-Day) -Multiplayer Co-Op using the Single Player Sceanrios -Realistic Tactics -Accurate Command Structure -Server Ranking for online Play -Unique Game modes, that dynamically adapt -Server Updates and alters the state of the game based on requests from the AI. -Realistic Learning AI Units -Full Military Command...
