Every source of research, a different name appears me: Alpenkorps, Gebirgsjaeger, Mountain Battalion, etc ...
Gebirgsjaeger was used in the Second World War, that because the units were inspired units Alpenkorps (German mountain units of the First World War).
ah, thank you. Wasnt sure which came first. Alpenkorp is more appropriate it seems.
