What is it?
Ponies Ascendant is a total conversion mod for 0 A.D. focusing on ponies civilizations. This mod used to be made since 2014 solely by Lordgood recent 0 A.D.’s lead artist. It is based on Alpha 23 release so do not forget to install it first (https://play0ad.com/new-release-0-a-d-alpha-23-ken-wood/).;)
What is included in this release?
Thanks to Stanislas69, s0600204,leper and Angen doing recent maintenance work with countless fixes that made it possible for you to play this mod on recent alpha version. Stanislas69 our artist did also for this release a new corral for Earth pony faction, new gate for Pegasi, made actors and fixed the geometry, and the texture mapping of the walls, different, existing textures for the Elite javelinist unicorn, file fixes (naming), new ambient occlusion maps for quality, corrections for formations, addition of new units to the fortresses and fixes for roads.
Pegasi
A winged pony faction that has cloud like buildings and winged white ponies to fight with.
New Gate for Pegasi
Unicorns
Is a noble faction that have fairy-tale medieval like buildings with Unicorn halberd knight armies.
Earth ponies
Is a majestic faction that had inspiration from Celtic and medieval styles of buildings with few magic touches.
Many smaller changes were made in this release too, but it would be too elaborate to list them all.
Who are we?
The Council of Modders was formed up of two small modding teams and a few newcomers: Aristeia (about the bronze age), Millennium A.D. (about medieval times), Rise of the East (East civilizations, Current Terra Magna) and Ponies Ascendant (Pony factions) CoM aims to create a umbrella for all wannabee modders and help everyone needed and of course create their own projects.
How to:
- Unzip the download but leave the inner archive intact.
- Place the unzipped folder into /binaries/data/mods. You'll see another folder there called 'public'.
- Launch the game and enable the mod in Options>Mod Selection. Press 'Start Mods'.
- Enjoy the mod!
Download:
ModIO installation:
- Main menu -> Configuration -> Mods -> Download -> doubleclick
Pyromod installation:
- Download pyromod file, open with pyrogenesis.exe
Zip installation:
- Download the zip file from here, drag and drop on pyrogenesis.exe

Any way we could get this models in Pre-Reforged the old Warcraft 3 mdx format? I would love to mess around with them in my personal editor.
Actually there is but I have never made or animated any models in my life. I gave it a go but I'm running into issues on being able to open 0 A.D files. Youtube.com << This will help with getting into the Warcraft 3 stuff.
I was playing the mod, and, for some reason, when choosing the Unicorn Chateau, the game crashed. what can i do to fix that?

This really made the game cooler by 20%, I think I wouldn't play this game without this incredible mod, thanks for team who had put much effort on it~ :D

There will, probably much won't change, a few buildings here and there, but nothing transcendant.
